The National Football League announced 2022 training camp dates for all 32 clubs earlier this week, including when the Kansas City Chiefs will report to Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Per the release, the Chiefs’ quarterbacks and rookies will report to MWSU’s campus on Friday, July 22. The rest of the team’s veterans will report on Tuesday, July 26. While other clubs around the league have their entire roster reporting to camp on the same day, the Chiefs and head coach Andy Reid prefer the first few practices be between the quarterbacks and rookies. This scheduling format helps the younger players re-establish what they learned during organized team activities (OTAs) and mini-camp while providing an opportunity for the QBs to shake the rust off before the rest of the team shows up.
Practices between July 22 and 26 will not be open to the public, but the media is granted permission to cover them. The first opportunity fans will have to see the team in action will be Season Ticket Member Day on July 27. The first practice open to the public will be July 28.
A total of 17 practices will be open to the public except for two particular dates, reserved for season ticket members only. 14 of 17 practices will be free admission, but the college will collect a $5 parking fee.
Every practice will begin at 9:15 a.m., except for the last one on August 18, which will start at 8:15 a.m.

Post-practice autograph sessions will return this season for the first time in two years, with the full order of positions listed below.
