Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was placed on Kansas City’s physically unable to perform (PUP) list on Tuesday, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The Chiefs also put defensive tackle Cortez Broughton on the PUP list today. Both players join cornerback Rashad Fenton and offensive tackles Lucas Niang and Prince Tega Wanogho.
However, an additional report from The Athletic’s Nate Taylor says the Chiefs should have CEH back at practice in a few days.
More information about the situation is expected to be released on Wednesday when head coach Andy Reid addresses the media after practice.
