Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland arrested in South Carolina

ESPN’s Adam Teicher reports Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Bashaud Breeland was arrested Tuesday night on multiple charges in York County, South Carolina.

Breeland was charged with resisting arrest, having alcohol in a motor vehicle with a broken seal, having a container of beer/wine in a motor vehicle, possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana, and driving without a license.

According to Teicher, Breeland is currently in county jail and bond has not been set at this time. As of now, there has not been any comment from the Chiefs nor Breeland’s agent, Brad Leshnock.

Breeland recently re-signed a one-year contract to remain with the Chiefs; that could change depending on what the team’s coaching staff decides to dish out in regards to discipline.
