Chiefs claim OL, waive DL Joey Ivie

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday via their twitter account that they have claimed offensive lineman Greg Senat off waivers from the Baltimore Ravens.

The move comes after they lost left tackle Eric Fisher to a groin injury he sustained during practice last Friday.

Fisher tried to play through the injury against the Raiders on Sunday but he was forced to leave the game after three plays. Backup tackle Cameron Irving was plugged in at left tackle to replace him.

The Chiefs should give an injury update on Fisher later in the week.

Senat, 25, was a sixth-round draft pick from the 2018 draft who never saw any playing time with the Ravens during the regular season. He was placed on injured reserve on August 31st, 2018 after having foot surgery and was initially waived by the team on Saturday.

To make room for Senat, Kansas City has waived defensive lineman Joey Ivie, who originally made the 53-man roster at the end of the preseason.
