About

Hello, I’m Travis Forsyth, the founder and independent beat writer for Arrowhead Illustrated.

I’ve been a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan for as long as I can remember. As I got older, I developed an interest in journalism and gained inspiration from watching former Chiefs reporter Josh Looney’s “Chiefs Live” show that aired every Tuesday afternoon on the team’s official site from 2009-2012.

After graduating High School in 2014, I attended Oklahoma Community College the following year. In 2016, I took the sports beat in my first journalism class and earned the sports writer job at the OCCC student paper, The Pioneer.

In 2018, I was offered a contributor role with a startup site called “Chiefs Update”, where I published articles about the team. The following year, on June 20, 2019, I started Arrowhead Illustrated to continue my love for sports writing and the Chiefs.

Thank you for visiting my site, I hope you’ll revisit the site soon. Also, don’t forget to subscribe so you’ll never miss an article, and follow my Facebook page.
