Not much has changed on the Thursday edition of the Kansas City Chiefs’ latest injury report. Kicker Harrison Butker and defensive end Mike Danna are the only players that have missed practice all week.
The Chiefs’ injury report can be seen below:
Chiefs
Player | Position | Injury | Wed. | Thurs. | Fri. | Game |
Harrison Butker | K | Left Ankle | DNP | DNP
Mike Danna | DE | Calf | DNP | DNP
Mecole Hardman | WR | Heel | LP | LP
Marquez Valdes-Scantling | WR | Hip | FP | FP
Orlando Brown | T | Knee | FP | FP

JuJu Smith-Schuster | WR | Shoulder | FP | FP
Justin Watson | WR | Chest | FP | FP |
* DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related
There’s still plenty of time for Harrison Butker’s ankle to heal before his team kicks off against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. However, the likelihood of the Butt Kicker suiting up looks bleaker by the day. Kansas City will look to substitute kicker Matt Ammendola for at least another week.
Mike Danna is still nursing a strained calf injury. The odds of him playing on Sunday are slim unless some real improvement is made on Friday and Saturday before the game.
Every other player on Kansas City’s injury report worked in some shape or form. Hardman remains limited as he works through a heel injury he sustained during the game against the L.A. Chargers last week. He should be available to the Chiefs in Week 3.

The Colts saw some change in their injury report, respectfully. Tackle Bernhard Raimann was upgraded to a limited workload after missing practice due to a hurt ankle.
Defensive tackle DeForrest Buckner, who’s been dealing with a hip issue, practiced in full on Thursday. There’s a good chance he returns to Indianapolis on Sunday. However, defensive end Yannick Ngakoue missed practice due to a back injury; he was limited yesterday.
The rest of the Colts’ injury report is the same as yesterday.
