As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for the season opener against the Arizona Cardinals, head coach Andy Reid said every player on the team’s 53-man roster practice in full on Wednesday. The same can’t be said for the Cardinal, who have four players that did not practice yesterday and five more that were limited.

Only four players were listed on Kansas City’s injury report. All were full participants.
Wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who had dealt with a knee injury during the preseason, said he’s 100% and will be ready to suit up on Sunday. “The knee is great,” he said. “Just a couple of minor issues. I’ve been playing the game for six years [and] I’m not the young JuJu you know anymore. I’m getting older, I’m more of an adult, and it takes time [but] it’s fully healed, and I can’t wait to play.”

Arizona practiced without a few of their star veterans on Wednesday. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters defensive end J.J. Watt is day-to-day with a calf injury. He also mentioned that cornerback Trayvon Mullen Jr. would likely be OUT for Week 1.
However, Kingsbury had some good news that his team should have their star tight end, Zach Ertz, for the season’s first game. He said Ertz is trending towards playing on Sunday against the Chiefs, but he will likely see limited snaps.
